Fresh food, served quickly. They have entrees, salads, and sandwiches, as well as a variety of breakfast options and pastries. I usually get their ginger Thai bowl, which is a bowl of brown rice topped with Thai peanut sauce, chicken, and delicious toppings. I have also had their chipotle steak sandwich, their chili, and their chicken chowder which are all very good. The soups are extremely filling. I find them to be a little pricey for the amount of food you get, but it's a quick option. They tend to get very busy during the lunch hour, so if you can go after 1 or 1:30, I would do so.

This is my go-to spot for a quick bite to eat when I'm in Fort Lauderdale and wanting soup and a sandwhich/salad. Conveniently located on the corner, the address is a little deceiving as the entry is off of E Los Olas on the side street of SE 4th Ave before SE 2nd St. As I work just a block away, it's quick in and out. There is street parking in metered spots in front of the entrance and nearby. I have two favorite foods that keep me coming back for more. 1) the chicken chowder soup - hands down my favorite soup if you like creamy-based soups. Always served piping hot and large chunks of chicken. Second favorite soup is the mushroom brie - unfortunately they don't always have it, they rotate their soups and usually have two other options in addition to the chicken chowder. The chicken chowder is standard on the menu all the time. 2) the pastries/baked goods - okay, not as specific but their large cookies are YUM. My favorite cookie is the oatmeal raisin followed closely by chocolate chip. Although they are large cookies, its a little crunchy on the outer-edges but nice and soft and chewy on the inside. Second to the cookies are their cakes (just had the chocolate cake today) and their muffins (red velvet... and big in size... YUM). I have tried different sandwiches and salads in the past and have yet to be disappointed. Their serving sizes are large - I am usually full halfway through the food. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy and crazy busy at lunchtime. They have seating inside and out, but a small area for the "take-out/pick-up" waiting area so it can get a bit cramped. That said, they dish out the food pretty quickly. The noise mostly comes from the fact that they yell out your name when your food is ready - so you have to keep an ear open while you are talking. Space is clean and service is quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

The service at this place during lunch is usually pretty bad. I know they are a high volume lunch spot, but getting food is a mad-house. Once you place your order you have to step off to the side where the masses are huddled while they scream out people's names. They also sling the food up on an exposed counter right where people walk by after placing their order. As the place gets crowded people start congregating in this area waiting for their food. I really don't want the entire line breathing on my salad. The food is fine - sandwich and salad fare. I only go here as a last resort.

Great place for lunch. The Pesto Chicken Salad is awesome! It gets a bit crowded at lunch time, especially in the waiting area but it's well worth the wait. There's normally enough seating available once you pick up your order. There's also outdoor seating available.

The food is awesome, and the people are usually friendly. I've only ever had one bad experience, but everyone was so apologetic I couldn't hold it against them. The best part about this place is they deliver. And for someone who hate getting up early to make breakfast, this place is a life saver.

Clean and conformable atmosphere. This place definitely caters to the corporate lunch crowd. Order and wait for your food to be placed on a counter, have your name called and pick it up. The food I have had here is fine. Really nothing exceptional until it comes to price for portions. Today I had to wait 20 minutes for a "large" grilled chicken Caesar salad and a bottle of water that cost upwards of $14.00. I am still hungry. Not getting your money's worth here.

Walking distance from many downtown office buildings. Their sandwiches are really good. They could stand to have a better waiting line system but it's a small place. I'm usually in and out pretty quickly despite the lines.

Quick service and a tasty bagel. Nice option for hummus on the bagels as well cream cheeses, butter, etc. Typical Einsteins, Brueggers type sandwich offerings but in a much nicer atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside. A few tables outside provide a great place to stop for a few minutes and take a break. The only thing that is odd has nothing to do with the restaurant and that is that apparently there are continuous sirens (fire dept, police, construction trucks) blasting which kind of interferes with the outdoor ambiance. Not really sure that the restaurant can change it. Who knew FTL was the City of Sirens?!!!! They do have wireless, but you will have to ask for the code. A good, quick stop for breakfast, coffee or lunch and to check emails.

Good place for salads, soups and sandwiches especially when you're on the go. My favorite is the Johnny House salad. You can add chicken or salmon. I don't recommend the salmon if you order it with the 1/2 salad because it'll be about the size of a quarter. Their sandwiches are good. I usually go with the Very Vegan on the french baguette -- yes, I splurge and forgo the wheat baguette :) Also, they deliver. During lunch rush hour, it's best to call about 45 minutes in advance.

Offerdahl's is great for lunch or breakfast. I go there very frequently. The staff there is extremely nice and helpful. They always greet us at the register with a smile and are so welcoming and kind. The staff is the best. The food is great.

For lunch in not so quite a rush, this isn't too terrible an option. I happen to work at an office close to this location so I find myself here somewhat regularly, usually when I've tired of the cheaper lunch fare nearby. I always feel I don't get my $'s worth when I'm done with that $10 sammy and chips though... Now, the details why... I generally order the chicken or ham sandwich on a wheat baguette. It's an actual grilled chicken breast (not the shredded and reformed nastiness you find in a Micky D's or Subway) and you will not be able to read a newspaper (or your iPad; as if anyone actually reads newspapers these days) through the sliced ham - so the food is "real", so to speak, and is of good quality. The burger is typically really tasty but takes forever (FOR-EV-ER) to come out of the kitchen. The salads... $10 bucks for some lettuce... no thanks. So why don't I get my $'s worth... well... 1) Time is money. I get the chicken sandwich because it tends to come out quickly - and the line is generally out the door at noon. 2) The food quality is great for "fast" food - which leads to the long wait time - normally I'd be thrilled to get great quality... but I don't get much of it for $10... one small chicken breast (it's that naturally grown stuff that doesn't have all the extra hormones) in eight inches of bread is pretty thin. If you have an hour to burn, you're meeting meeting some friends or colleagues for a long lunch, you have some spare cash to blow and don't want the fast food taste (but the fast portions) - go for burger - forget the salad!!! Note on the bagels - pretty good, like them better than Einstein's, but I'll take Panera Bread any day. Can't comment on the coffee - Starbucks gets all that business.

Wow! I am baffled at the lack of customer service skills. Not referring to the staff, as they seem generally helpful. But if you ever have the misfortune of speaking to this particular Offerdahl's general manager (Alex) on E Las Olas Blvd Ft Lauderdale, and you have any sort of issue you need help with... Good Luck! I have been in outside sales for 10 years. I'm rather experienced in talking with all different types of people. I also have a budget... hundreds of dollars to spend on food for lunch meetings each month. Without going into grave detail, he has a condescending way of speaking... using the word "darling" to refer to you at the wrong time, no concept of "the customer is always right". The cups of soda were dripping down the sides, I got no help placing things in my cart to get out the door and I needed an itemized receipt which they neglected to provide me when I picked up $100 worth of food. When I went back a different day to retrieve the receipt, Alex said there was nothing he could do, even though I had the transaction # and total from the credit receipt. He was rude in the way he spoke to me, being extremely defensive and almost trying to make ME feel bad because I was an unhappy customer. He also said with a grin on his face that there was no regional mgr to speak with because it's independently owned & he is part owner. I spoke with him very professionally, never raising my voice. Yet as I walked toward the door, he said "I'm done dealing with you." Again, wow! I found a similar review on yelp under "Reviews not currently recommended"... If you read the one from Maryam S. on 6/4/2014, she is right on in her assessment! (It's worth noting that the Hollywood location for Offerdahl's is far superior in service and I would use them weekly! The Weston Offerdahl's is also awesome!! They make me feel like a valued customer.) In conclusion, through this manager's awful communication skills and very unhelpful nature, that location has lost not only my personal business and respect, but my company's as well.

Ordered 2 bagels to go with humus. They forgot the humus. Went back a few days later (my office is far from location) for lunch. When ordering, I mentioned that bagel incident. Cashier got manager who asked me for a receipt. I said I didn't have one since it was several days ago. He said he couldn't do anything. They lost a customer over their cost of about $1. Dumb move. There were lots of solutions: I'm sorry and we're glad you came back: how can I make it up to you? Can I comp you a drink today? Would you like to take some bagels with you today? Any of those would have helped even just I'm sorry might of covered it. It was an easy pitch and he missed.
